These are rubies, from Pakistan. The size is quite large, and they are in fact ruby, but the color is pretty drab. These are all about the energy and size. Note: Tumbling these will not work out well. The matrix the ruby is in is extremely brittle, and it will just disintegrate. While corundums (the family of stones Ruby is in) are pretty hard, the matrix they grow in is not.
