Garnet is a wonderful stone for grounding because of its alignment with the first (root) chakra.
These are rough dodecahedron (10 sided) stones. The color is deepest darkest red. There is a lot of rough whitish scratching on the surfaces as shown. Garnets are fairly brittle and can fracture easily, so this is common for this type of stone when they are this large. These are considered pretty large stones for garnets.
