Turquoise is it's natural state (which this is) is a beautiful shade of sky blue. Native Americans prized it for that very reason - it resembled the open sky.

It is said that a gift of turquoise for a new home will help to bring peace and happiness to the person who receives it.

Colors range from softest aqua to a deeper shade. Some with fleck of cream or brown.
