I love making these! I have them in almost every window in my house, and have had many friends ask why I don't sell them in my shop. Well, now I do!
The crystal on this window sun catcher is vintage. This is one of my favorite styles and shapes to use for window hangers - when I can find them. I haunt vintage shops and antique stores looking for borken chandeliers so I can get a precious few of these lovely old crystals.
The beads on this one are black onyx, and it is 18" in total length! So this one is howy! The beads are black onyx for protection and the wire and findings are silver plate. The little silver and black spacer beads are black crystal and silver metal, not really sure what kind, but though they looked pretty and old fashioned and complimented the center crystal.
I make these with the intention of protection from all negative energy, and deflecting negative energy away from the place it's hung. When you hang it, picture it like a little guardian holding negativity out, and filtering pure white light in with the crystal and sending it cascading throughout your space as streaks of light.
