Black salt may be poured onto window sills and doorways to act as a protective element. It is often sprinkled on the floor of a space, then swept away to absorb negative energy and remove it from the space.

Black salt is used in spell work for protection, banishing and in some cases hexes, although I don't personally recommend doing baneful work unless you are acquainted with the potential repercussions. Use black salt in circle casting for protection and purification.

This listing is for a 4 oz. (volume) jar of black salt, packaged as shown. Does not include the tools and items shown in some images, just the bottle of salt.

This salt was created during the season of Samhain 2022. Mars and I made a fire in our yard, and made charcoal from 5 sacred woods: Apple, Hawthorne, Oak, Willow and Wormwood. Once the charcoal was created, we blended it with sea salt to make this black salt. The process is a bit labor intensive, but we feel it's worth it.

Note: This is Not culinary salt, and is not intended for internal use. Black salt is made from salt mixed with charcoal, and is not for eating. Please use in magick only.
